Religion

Babylon was also a very religious culture. Though it is not around anymore, ancient Babylonia still figures in the future of the world. Many of the Babylonians religious ideas are still taught in today's modern religions. Astrology –studies of heaven and stuff –is still a main part of many religions today just as it was back in Babylonian times. The bible says that the Lord will punish Babylon in the future, which He did in the past. Babylonians were polytheists (they believed in many different gods), and they believed that if they pleased their gods, everything would go well.
